Absolutely! Our brand was built on a belief that creating great skincare is possible using all-natural ingredients. We use only the best skin loving butters, carrier oils, and essential oils without synthetics.
Do You Use Ingredients That Are Tested On Animals?
No way! We believe there is no reason that animals should ever be used to test cosmetics or skincare products. If there is ever a time that we find our supplier/suppliers are using animal tested products, we will be finding other sources for our ingredients.
However, we do test on humans, aka friends, family and colleagues!
What If I Need To Cancel An Order?
We can help with that. We will be glad to cancel an order within 12 hours after the order is placed. Do Valēna Naturals' Products Contain Preservatives?
Nope, no way, never!
One of the reasons this company was created was because of nasty, toxic preservatives on shelves. Great oil-based products can be made without the use of preservatives. Water-based products are entirely different than oil-based products in that a preservative is needed. Your lotions, creams, shampoos, and conditioners are water-based, therefore, they must have a preservative to withstand bacteria and fungi. Be aware that these toxic ingredients are now being hidden in "fragrance" and "parfum". They do not have to be revealed by law.
In the future, we may delve into formulation of water-based products but be assured, they will have been tested with all-natural preservatives.
What is the Shelf-Life of the Valēna Naturals' Products?
Glad you asked! We strive to use the freshest ingredients and make fresh batches regularly which help our products stay fresher longer. Most of our products will be great for use for at least 9 months and could be good for longer than a year when kept out of direct sunlight and heat.
Why does it take 2-3 days to ship out products?
We want your products to be as fresh as possible. The way we do that is by keeping our batches small, unlike large corporate businesses. We want you to enjoy the products to the fullest. That's what makes our hearts sing!
What if I get a damaged product?
We can't have that! Although we cannot be responsible for damages incurred while shipping, we will replace damaged parts such as a sprayer or a pump that do not work. We do everything within our power to make sure the product/s are shipped out safely and in good condition. We try to test every product to ensure it is in tip top form. We do ask that if the box is damaged, you contact the courier (UPS, USPS etc.) to inquire about the package.

Are all of your products Vegan?
99% yes, 1% no. Why is that? When the owner started the business, she was not vegetarian. After becoming vegetarian, she made a decision to change the products. Slowly, many of the products have been changed from using non-vegan ingredients such as goat milk to being vegan and also organic and fair-trade. Our Good as Gold Rich Balm has organic beeswax in it, so it is not vegan. It is not only our best seller, but was formulated to be protective, highly moisturizing and also have some anti-bacterial properties. We have made many changes to our products. We have used candelilla (vegan) wax in our Good as Gold and found that it is not the same amazing product.

What do you charge for shipping?
We charge $7.95 Flat Rate shipping (Lower 48 US States Only) & Free shipping on orders of $100+. For Hawaii and Alaska: $15 Flat Rate Shipping & Free shipping on orders over $140. We also do free Las Vegas pickup on orders over $12 (Must register for an account on our site with name, address, and phone number and be located within 15 miles of 89012)
Do You Ship Internationally?
